¿What is the right paint for each sector of the home?

All environments, according to their characteristics, have a special paint to be applied on the walls. It is formulated for increased durability, prolonging the beauty and adapt to the needs of use of the environment. Here are some of the most used for each sector:

In bathrooms and wet environments

By the large amount of moisture that remains constant in the environment are used waterproof products, thus no harm is sought coating beneath the paint, preventing the release thereof.

Furthermore humidity favors the growth of fungi. It is common to find anti-fungal paints that reduce the possibility of proliferation, such as Latex High Length Bioprotect.

In kitchens

Similarly in other areas find moisture, but also the resulting grease food preparation. Sometimes a glaze is typically used by being washable and withstand much more certain detergents and abrasives. The satin and gloss finishes allow less adherence of dirt and of course a better cleaning. We recommend Enamel Anti odors, it neutralizes odor vapors, preventing the odors generated in the kitchen disperse.During the repainting is advisable to remove all traces of grease, cleaning products, and moisture to allow for a good grip of the paint.

In fronts and exterior

All exterior paints are more resistant to weather and the elements, should not replace them with interior paints.
Other materials such as varnishes, often have ultraviolet filters for better preservation of wood exposed to sunlight. For facades recommend using Sher Seal, water-repellent sealant with excellent resistance to weather effects.

In rooms of children and delicate
The use odorless paint is favorable for those who do not support strong odors and respiratory problems. Once again our Latex High Length Bioprotect is an excellent choice.
He advised easy cleaning paintings as Extra Washable enamel. Thus, children do not suffer!

How we paint a wall with moisture

The first thing to do is determine the cause of the moisture in the wall. There are many causes for this, such as a break in the pipeline. In this case it is enough to locate the leak and repair it. Thus, the moisture will gradually disappear. In a couple of months the wall should be in optimum condition to be re-painted.If moisture comes from the outside, ie, if the wall is constantly exposed to water, ideally with some bituminous paint waterproof it. This will prevent the water continues damaging the wall.Often the result of moisture is not only peeling paint. In some cases there is a stain on the wall. This is usually due to condensation and removing it is very important if you want to achieve a good result. If the stain has mold wall, it is best to apply a sponge or soft brush with pure bleach to disappear him. This is a very simple procedure. Rinse and let air then the wall to dry. When painting it, with the help of a spatula scrape paint chips that were left and then proceed to apply a paint moisture, which will prevent the stain penetrating the paint. If the stain is very large, with a pair of hands throughout the area will suffice. You can use a plastic fillings which overlay any irregularities. Applying this putty with a wide spatula and as evenly as possible. Once dry, matching the surface with sandpaper. When the wall is smooth and you can start painting. The types of paint that are recommended are latex or antifungal paints to prevent future staining. Remember that the easiest way is to start with the corners, edges to switches, corners, and frames of doors and windows with a brush. You can then use the roller to finish faster.

Próximo Tip: Cómo cubrir todas esas superficies que no queremos pintar.
